"Live, Learn, Intern" Washington DC Internships

These internship/ study programs are offered by the Fund for American Studies at Georgetown University each Fall, Spring and Summer. They cover various topics and allow you to interact with various organizations, think tanks, etc. They are for undergraduates who have completed at least two semesters. Center for Teaching Excellence

The CTE or Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is a great resource for those interested in teaching or improving their teaching skills and experience. They periodically hold workshops, certification programs, lectures, and are a great starting point for all of those looking at teaching or becoming a TA.

Hawaiian Society of Law and Politics

A Registered Independent Organization part of Co-curricular Programs and Services at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The HSLP pursues the study of public international law in the context of Hawaiian history, and is open to all faculty and staff of UH. As a club it promotes international awareness of the Hawaiian state.

"The House and the Senate participate in an intern program sponsored by the University of Hawaii (UH). The program is for one semester, which coincides with the legislative session [January thru the beginning of May]. The students are then placed in leadership or committee offices. Eligible participants must be enrolled at the University of Hawaii for at least one paid semester."
